To Catch a Butterfly by T.M. Payne

To Catch A Butterfly

About the Book:

Stevie Buchanan’s family has a secret.

Catherine Stone has a secret.

Stevie knows nothing. Catherine knows everything.

Set between Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, this is the story of an innocent life thrown into the deep.

When their worlds collide and the real truth is laid bare, no one could have imagined how very dark the secret really is.

As Stevie grows from a curious little girl into a strong young woman, the secret is revealed. And so her journey begins. A journey that takes her to Catherine’s door.

My Review:

This book was recommended to me by a close friend, she herself thought this book was wonderful and wanted to share it with me. I can certainly see why she thought this book was wonderful because I thought the same after reading it. It did take me awhile to read it, but that was because I had to keep putting it down due to other things going on. Once you get going with this book, it really does capture you. This story could be hard for some people as it touch’s on domestic violence, so this is something that could be very close to some peoples own lives.

This book is about a young girl who has had a bit of a hard time growing up, she then gets told some news that throws her life into turmoil. There is also other characters included in the book, which unfortunately I can’t tell you about, as it would give too much of the story away. Once you get into this book, it is a real page turner. I am very pleased I got recommended this book, as it wouldn’t normally be a book I would have thought to read.
